I think so, too! [ he sounds pretty sincere at least! ] I try to be a good roommate, and they can't really kick us out here if we're supposed to work for the whole season, anyway.

No way! I can do that the old fashioned way. Besides, it's probably too dangerous trying to control water that's already inside someone.

Oh! No, it's not that. It's not a matter of lying or not, it's just that I'm still trying to get used to all of that.

Ah, that's right. I keep forgetting that these things aren't normal for some worlds.

Summoning water's not that hard, but I usually use it in battle, so I'm not sure how trying to rescue someone with it would work out.

No, it isn't magic. It's qi control. I was taught how to do this from a young age.

[ "qi control" is the same as magic to him, but if it's just water, that even a toddler can manipulate... that doesn't sound too bad. leng feng probably won't drown him, probably. ]

It's a little hard to think of what to do on command...

This is usually how I keep it. Way easier than lugging it around when there isn't even a fight, and I don't have to worry about losing it.

So you just keep it- what, dehydrated? Desiccated sword powder in your pocket that you rehydrate it with water when you need it...

Well, I don't know what we'd use a sword for, but being able to summon water is very convenient! Some of these sets are su~per dusty, and they could do with a good rinse.
