[ Been hectic workdays despite it not being too much. He kind of nudges a box away from him, there's been enough heaving and ho'ing of cargo. He looks over. ]
[ :fjordstanding: as he's asked the hard questions right off the bat. ]
I think I saw a pamphlet somewhere with the history of the place, or something. The Boulevard [ HE'S NOT SAYING OOOO OUT LOUD ] said somethin' about wizards and haunted houses.
I don't think I'm here to particularly question the history of this island though. As far as we know, they're bullshitting anyway.
I did see that. There was something about knights for this place, but I don't see anything here that would relate to knights, unless they were different from anything I'd know. But now that you mention it, there wasn't really anything magical at the boulevard, either.
[ who is naming these things he wants a word ]
We'd have no way of knowing if they were making things up, anyway.
Fjord is just tossing another vaguely person-sized bag of hay down in their new hodge-podge training area they have constructed, this was a group effort. Anything that didn't make it into Joust Kidding is here now. ]
[ i meant to send you this yesterday and then fuckin died after jury duty. god. anyway throws us right into a trap door whoa... i give memory but do mind the page numbers imgbb is weird about sorting i guess.
leng feng is looking a little confused by this one, but surely that's fine. ]
Wow our trapdoor. Fjord looks very unenthused, especially when they drop into this strange gilded hall that smells distinctly like blood -- but it can't actually be blood, can it? He must be imagining that sharp smell in the air... the efforts made to recreate it is wild. ]
What the hell was that?
[ The situation, but also... the giant naga at the end of it. ]
The Butterfly Sect kidnapped Shen Yuhua. It had something to do with these potions they were making... I assume they wanted her blood just like they did with that ancient demon, but I don't know for sure.
[ overall leng feng looks like a person made of water, rippling and shifting and sometimes a little transparent. demonic features like finned ears, claws, or horns flicker in and out of view, never staying solid for long.
aside from that, he's in the mail room today, frowning. ]
Soooo try to convince them to kidnap someone, huh. Easy. That's... normal...

Hey, why do you think they call it "Sword Coast?" There aren't even any swords here, let alone somewhere to spar.
